Beverley J. Adamo Memorial Bursary
The Beverley J. Adamo Memorial Bursary will award 2 bursaries in the amount of $1,629.00 each
Bev Adamo (née McGrath) graduated from Loretto College School in Toronto in 1950. She was intelligent, hard-working, lively, and very organized. She worked as a legal secretary at Queen’s Park in the late 1950’s. She had an inquisitive mind and a keen interest in history. She believed that education had the power to transform lives. She put her beliefs into practice and volunteered at her children’s school (St. Alfred’s in Mississauga) for many years. When substitute teachers were not available, she would teach the class herself.
She recognized the importance of leading by example. She would hope that by furthering your education, you will inspire your children and those around you to strive for meaningful work and happy life.
