Jane Greening Bursary

The Jane Greening Endowment was established by the late Edith Willton. Ms. Willton had bequest a bursary to Sheridan College in the memory of Jane Greening to be awarded to students that deal with obstacles that Jane Greening lived with most of her life.

There are 2 bursaries at $2,327.00 available.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Enrolled full-time in any program at the Trafalgar Campus in the Faculty of Animation, Arts & Design (joint programs excluded)
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person and have resided in Ontario for 12 consecutive months prior to beginning your post-secondary studies.
  • Special needs – physical disability. A physical disability is defined as "Any degree of physical disability, infirmity, malformation or disfigurement that is caused by bodily injury, birth defect or illness and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, includes diabetes mellitus, epilepsy, a brain injury, any degree of paralysis, amputation, lack of physical co-ordination, blindness or visual impediment, deafness or hearing impediment, or physical reliance on a guide dog or other animal or on a wheelchair or other remedial appliance or device” – Sheridan Accessible Learning Office website
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA or higher Previous Sheridan full-time GPA required
  • Demonstrate financial need
