Sheridan Student Union Practicum Bursary

The Sheridan Student Union Practicum Bursary has been created to support International students with a required placement experience at Sheridan during the academic year.
Bursary amounts will vary as the number of required hours of your field placement/practicum will be taken into consideration.

To be eligible for this bursary, you must be an International student registered in a field placement, mandatory practicum during the Spring/Summer 2026 term.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be an International student
  • Enrolled full-time in an academic term in a program that requires a field placement/practicum. NOTE: Students enrolled in a work term (i.e., co-op or internship) are not eligible for this bursary.
  • Students must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.0 for diploma programs and a minimum of 2.5 for degree programs
  • Must demonstrate financial need
  • Must be registered and completing a field placement/practicum course for the Spring/Summer 2026 semester
