Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education Entrance Scholarships
The Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education Entrance Scholarships will award two (2) scholarships of $2,500 each
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person, and an Ontario resident
- Must be entering the first year and be enrolled full-time in the Honours Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) or Honours Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) program.
- Must demonstrate academic achievement including having graduated with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and achieved the designation of Ontario Scholar.
- Must demonstrate at least one of the following: leadership qualities through participation in extracurricular activities or programs; commitment to participation in extracurricular activities in school or the community like student government, clubs, or team sports; superior volunteerism well beyond requirements for high school graduation in Ontario.
- Must demonstrate financial need
Preference will be given to students who identify as a woman, non-binary, or gender-diverse.
The student’s combined school-administered scholarships for the academic year cannot exceed $10,000, including the Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education.
