Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education Undergraduate Scholarships

The Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education Undergraduate Scholarships will award two (2) scholarships of $2,500 each

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person, and an Ontario resident.
  • Must be enrolled full-time in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of Honours Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) or Honours Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) program
  • Must demonstrate at least one of the following: high engineering aptitude (minimum 3.0 GPA from the previous term), leadership through participation in professional affairs; sustained participation in extracurricular activities either on or off campus; continued volunteerism either on or off campus
  • Must demonstrate financial need

Preference will be given to students who identify as a woman, non-binary, gender-diverse, or from an underrepresented minority within their program.


The student’s combined school-administered scholarships for the academic year cannot exceed $10,000, including the Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education.
