Sprit Day Scholarship

The Spirit Day Scholarship will award two (2) scholarships of $2,500.00

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be enrolled full-time in a Sheridan postsecondary program.
  • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA from the previous term. Applicant’s Fall 2026 GPA will be used; recipients will be notified in January 2027.
  • Must demonstrate contribution to your community, family, workplace, school, or cultural community within the past two years, or provide evidence of significant responsibilities and commitments undertaken while pursuing your studies.
  • Must demonstrate financial need.

Preference will be given to students who identify as members of equity-deserving groups, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC), 2SLGBTQI+, and other historically marginalized communities.


Application Requirements
Submit an essay that describes how you identify with one or more of the priority groups, explain the systemic barriers you have encountered in pursuing or completing your education, and how the scholarship would support your academic success and persistence through graduation

1 scholarship to be awarded to an international student
